The Sharon D. Stepps Memorial Scholarship is an annual, merit-based competition, that focuses on rewarding ambitious, driven, goal-oriented students with a background of consistent civic involvement or community service.  This is a one-time award that will be given to five deserving high school graduating seniors intending to pursue a course of study at either a two-year or four-year Historically Black College or University.

Sharon was an entrepreneur whose life and legacy was all about fostering community leadership, inspiring a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship with grit and tenacity. Keeping Sharon’s ideas in mind, the committee will focus on these traits in assisting four amazing of the next generation of leaders attend college.  Winners will be celebrated Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the Annual Sneaker Soiree in Pine Bluff, AR.
